Overview
Read the creator-supported scope and the parts that remain untested.
Miscellaneous Tweaks (EML) is BleakBlack’s collection of configurable changes. Its creator page describes intro-duration changes, altered slope sliding, fast travel to most markers, extended difficulty sliders and recipe adjustments. These descriptions identify the intended features; they do not establish that every option currently works with Enshrouded 1.0.
Read the current compatibility notice first
The creator explicitly says the game file format changed with the 1.0 release and that testing and updates are in progress. The page also shows the mod’s own version as 1.0.0. These are different version labels. Do not turn the displayed mod version into a claim of game-version compatibility.
The author links EML v0.2.0, but the loader’s compatibility statement cannot verify the collection. Check the current notice and the specific option you intend to use before depending on it in a main world.
Keep the documented layout and configuration limits
The collection shows ../Enshrouded/mods/MOD_NAME/mod.json as its expected folder layout. Its description includes older loader-installation wording; use the current EML usage guide for the loader itself.
The creator says many Lua scripts have a configuration section at the top and warns that invalid or unusual values can break the game. Preserve the original world and configuration, then change one understood option at a time. The altered marker-travel feature is also explicitly described as unintended base-game behavior, so it should not be used as evidence for a normal progression route.
Files and comments were not reviewed. This page therefore supplies no individual file downloads, file sizes, user test reports or success claim. The author project link is the place to check the latest support notice.
Evidence limit
Main creator description, header and gallery were reviewed on 2026-10-17. The author explicitly states that the game file format changed in 1.0 and that the mods are being tested and updated. The displayed mod version 1.0.0 is not proof of compatibility with game version 1.0. Files, Posts, Requirements and Changelogs tabs were not reviewed.
Requirements
Use the relevant loader and check each project independently.
| Requirement | Version | Reason | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Enshrouded Mod Loader | Unverified | The collection is written for EML. The creator links the loader project and current update notice. | Required; confirm per-mod supportConfirmed |
| Current compatibility notice | Unverified | The author is still testing and updating after the 1.0 file-format change. | Compatibility pendingConfirmed |
Installation
These steps summarize the creator documentation; no game execution is claimed.
Read the latest author status first
Do not treat the displayed mod release 1.0.0 as a successful Enshrouded 1.0 test. Check that the creator has confirmed the individual option you intend to use.
ConfirmedFollow the current EML loader guide
The collection’s older install text mentions workflow builds and dinput8.dll. The current loader usage guide recommends the dbghelp.dll proxy method; follow the loader author for loader setup.
ConfirmedCheck the documented mod folder layout
The creator shows ../Enshrouded/mods/MOD_NAME/mod.json and says not to add additional folder layers.
ConfirmedChange Lua configuration cautiously
The creator says many scripts expose values in a configuration section at the top of the file and warns that invalid or unusual values can break the game.
ConfirmedUse a recoverable test before a main world
No option in this collection was executed for this guide. Preserve the original world and verify the one intended change before relying on it.

Conflicts and limitations
Resolve the documented limits before relying on a modded world.
| Component | Interaction | Resolution | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Enshrouded 1.0 file-format change | The author says the format changed and is testing/updating the mods. | Wait for or verify mod-specific support rather than extrapolating from EML’s own release. | Confirmed |
| Invalid or unusual configuration values | The creator warns they can break the game. | Keep a recoverable original and change only values whose behavior you understand. | Confirmed |
| Fast travel to most markers | The creator warns this behavior is not intended by the base game. | Do not treat altered travel access as a normal progression route. | Confirmed |
Practical checks
Keep loader support separate from dependent-mod compatibility.
What changes does the collection describe?
